Leon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who hails from Yonkers, NY. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and lived in Michigan for 13 years before relocating to Connecticut to earn his MBA from the University of Connecticut. Leon joined the Grove School in 2013 as the school’s comptroller, and he runs our business office. Leon brings 25 years of accounting experience to the Grove School, having worked for Price Waterhouse during his public accounting days, then serving a long career in the manufacturing and biotech industries with both private and publicly held companies before joining the Grove School.

Leon is a fairly accomplished horseman who served six years in the Connecticut Governor’s Horse Guards, including 4 years as the Riding Platoon Officer. He is also a long-time beekeeper and is assisting with the beekeeping club at Grove School to help teach a new generation of beekeepers.
