Ashley was raised on the Connecticut Shore and joined the Grove staff after completing her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Adolescent Education from Pace University in 2012 and has since completed her master’s degree in special education from Southern Connecticut State University.
Ashley began her tenure as a Teacher/Counselor in the Emmerich Dorm, and currently serves as an Assistant Residential Director, Student Advisor, and Dorm Administrator. She has been apart of facilitating various activity aspects of the Grove community, such as the Drivers Education program, as well as all major community and special events. Ashley has participated in Grove’s ASTEE programming and has taken students ski/snowboarding, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, white water rafting, and zip-lining. She also helps co-lead the Animal Therapy group on campus weekly.
Ashley takes pride in being a part of the Grove School community. She is also invested in all of her advisee’s individual growth and is passionate about helping each of them develop better coping skills and healthy relationship strategies while at Grove and within their own families.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys training for long distance running events, the beach, boating, and spending time with her family.
